Last week mom, Henry, and I drove down to central Kentucky to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and two adorable nephews. We whipped up some carrot cake cupcakes and mac n cheese to take with us. And my SIL made some killer chicken salad sandwiches with dried cranberries and pecans for lunch. Yum! One of their pigs had babies so we got to see the piglets. They are a Duroc-Guinea mix. So cute. Most of the day we just hung out and ran after the kiddos. Mom helped out with a few farm things, castrating piglets. On the way home I spilled gravy and gas drops all over mom’s brand new car. Oops! Good thing I’m her favorite daughter…only daughter…whatever.

Stuart and Henry weren't quite sure what to think about there being somebody their own size to play with. It was great to see everybody. The boys have grown so much! Stuart has become a super speedy crawler and is starting to try out walking. He still likes crawling better because it's faster.
It had started out as a sort of gray day but turned out sunny and warm so we all went for a walk out to the barn to see the new piglets.

These little ones are Duroc and American Guinea hog. They are soooo cute!
